(16 LBJWCS Alumni Running for Office)

As we head into Election Day, the LBJ Women’s Campaign School (LBJWCS) is proud to highlight the 16 alumni we have on the ballot. From a statewide Texas race and the Texas House of Representatives to local elections across the country, these women are putting the skills and confidence they gained through the LBJ Women’s Campaign School into practice. They are stepping up and running for office to lead their communities.

Launched in 2020, the LBJ Women’s Campaign School is a bipartisan program that brings together women from across the political spectrum for a six-month hybrid training program. Participants gain the political know-how to run for office, manage campaigns, and support women candidates at all levels. They learn from leading political experts across the country on topics ranging from polling and public speaking to fundraising, cybersecurity, and grassroots organizing. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and networking, participants leave LBJWCS equipped and empowered to take the next step toward political leadership. Our next class of changemakers will be announced later this year and will start their journey through the campaign school in January 2027, as part of our 8th cohort.
