Our participants come from across the political spectrum. We believe our differences can make us stronger if leveraged as a tool for understanding — not dividing. With 64% of our alumni being women of color, our change-makers are diverse in race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation and career background.
The world needs more women in politics
There are over 518,000 public offices nationwide; women hold less than one-third of them. There are so many opportunities to get involved, whether as a candidate or senior-level political staff.
Women hold 32.3% of municipal offices
Since the Texas legislature was founded, only 3% of legislators have been women (5,459 men compared to 181 women and 0 other gender identity)
